New Sunday School Curriculum

The Christian Education Council will be introducing a new Sunday School Curriculum in January 2008.  The new curriculum, called the Rotational Model, will allow children to spend 5 weeks on a Bible topic, spending each week at a different station.  The stations will include Arts and Crafts, Movies, Computer, and Storytelling, as well as things like music, cooking and games.  The new curriculum promises to make Sunday School fun and different, while really emphasizing a Bible story.

Progress Towards New Church Building

Progress is being made by committees to make our dream of a new church building a reality.  The Facility Design Committee has been hard at work determining what the best design for our new church should be.  The members of that committee has met several times with the various groups within the church to determine exactly what the needs of the church are, while keeping the cost within reason.  They will continue their work.

Annual Congregational Meeting

On February 25th, Hope UCC's Annual Congregational Meeting was held.  Among other things accomplished, to include introducing the congregational to conceptional drawings of a new building, the following person were elected to the Board of Trustees:  Ida Eckert, Jim Lantagne, Nancy Fay, and Bill Nill.  Congratulations!
